Vilela Doubles

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Luke Graham raised to 19,000 from under the gun and the action folded around to Leonardo Vilela on the button. He shoved for 92,000 and Graham reluctantly called to see both players table pocket pairs.

Leonardo Vilela: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Luke Graham: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop left Graham in desperate shape, and Vilela had the double locked up on the {8-Diamonds} turn to make the {2-Spades} river a formality.

Zeng Busts with a Bang

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Linglin Zeng
Linglin Zeng

Linglin Zeng burst the bubble with a bang and remained one of the most active players in the field after. Just now she ran out of chips to finish in 44th place and it was Matthew Bucciero that received her chips.

Bucciero raised and called the shove for 140,000 with {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Zeng only had {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} in the small blind and failed to get there on a board of {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Another Break

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

The remaining players have been sent into their next 15-minute break. They will either play another two levels of 60 minutes each or an additional half an hour on top of that.

Butteroni Doubles Through Fernandez

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Pablo Fernandez raised to 12,000 and Federico Butteroni three-bet to 49,000 out of the small blind. What followed was William Kassouf-esque speech play by Butteroni and Fernandez indeed called, then almost tabled his cards even though Butteroni still had 6,500 behind. Fernandez bet that amount in the dark and Butteroni called all in while the flop came {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Federico Butteroni: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Pablo Fernandez: {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {8-Clubs} turn was a sweat, and the {A-Hearts} river changed nothing to let the Italian double.

Gregg Doubles Through Smith

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

There are less than 45 players remaining as a table just broke and Matt Salsberg walked over to the payout desk. Short, he was all in with queens against ace-four and failed to hold up.

Jeffrey Gregg was more successful at his all in. With plenty of chips in the middle, he shoved the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} river for 124,000 and was called by Ernest Smith. Gregg showed {A-Spades}{6-Spades} for the nut flush and Smith only had {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for two pair.

Romero No More

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
James Romero
James Romero

Joining the action on the heads-up flop of {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}, James Romero checked out of the big blind and [Removed:153] bet 12,000 on the button. Romero check-raised all in for his last 116,000 and Stenholm reluctantly called.

James Romero: {Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
[Removed:153]: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

Romero had plenty of outs, but the {10-Clubs} turn and {2-Diamonds} river were not among them to send Romero to the rail in 48th place.

Matt Waxman
Matt Waxman

Matt Waxman was on the button and raised to 14,000. Vitor Rangel was in the big blind and moved all in for roughly 160,000. Waxman called with 140,500 total.

Rangel tabled {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Waxman showed {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {a-Hearts} and Waxman hit the rail.
