Yashuo Chin Doubles Through Jason Wheeler

Nível 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Yashuo Chin
Yashuo Chin

Jason Wheeler raised from the button to 4,200 and Yashuo Chin three-bet to 14,500 out of the small blind. Wheeler called.

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Chin bet 18,000. Wheeler raised to put Chin to a decision for the remainder of her stack and she quickly called.

Chin: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Wheeler: {A-Clubs}{10-}{9-}{8-Clubs}

Chin had the lead with trip kings, but she had to dodge Wheeler's flush draw in order to double up. The {4-Clubs} on the turn made Wheeler's flush, but it also gave Chin kings full of fours and left Wheeler drawing dead. The river was a {5-} and Chin took the pot to double up.

Friends Reunited

Nível 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Jonathan Zarin finished 21st in Event #18: Pot-Limit Omaha just a few days ago, cashing for $7,443. He tangled then and he has tangled again in this tournament with Igor Sharaskin from Russia who finished third in the same event for $102,045.

Sharaskin and Zarin got into a preflop raising war with Zarin getting in the last bet and saying, “Igor, we’re going to do it again? Really?”

Not this time though, as Sharaskin quietly folded to wait for a later hand.

Gary Bolden Shoves and Wins

Nível 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

With about 15,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Andy Margolis checked from the small blind and the big blind bet 7,000. Gary Bolden, in the cutoff, went into the tank for about half a minute and ultimately called. Margolis folded.

The {9-Hearts} fell on the turn and the big blind checked. Bolden moved all in for about 18,000, the big blind quickly folded, and Bolden took the pot.

Bruno Politano
Bruno Politano

Former November Niner Bruno Politano got all his chips in against Casey Carroll on a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

Politano: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Carroll: {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Politano had the lead with his set of nines, but he had to dodge clubs in order to double up. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn kept Politano in the lead and the {Q-Diamonds} on the river meant the pot was his.

Little Double For Joseph Bowers

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Joseph Bowers started short, has just doubled up, and is still on the short side but alive and in with a chance.

Bowers was all in preflop with {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and Jesse Yaginuma looked him up with {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

The board ran out {6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} which was good to give Bowers a double-up.

Pot to Michael Mizrachi

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Three players saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Action checked to Michael Mizrachi who bet 4,000. The player in the small blind folded but Nadar Kakhmazov from Russia called in early position.

The turn card was the {8-Spades} and Kakhmazov checked again. Mizrachi bet 6,000 this time and Kakhmazov sipped his drink through a straw for a while before asking how muck Mizrachi was playing.

“Same as you,” Mizrachi shot back.

A few more sips and Kakhmazov flicked his cards away.
