Richard Ashby completed and Adam Dickson called before eventually ending up all in for the remainder of his short stack on fifth street, flipping over . Ashby had the and asked "any fives about?" before immediately spiking said card on sixth street to leave Dickson drawing dead.
Dickson, who had dominated Day 1 and the early stages today, went on a roller coaster after before eventually having to settle for 22nd place.
Todd Dakake raised and Max Pescatori three-bet on the button, which Dakake called once the blinds let go. On the flop, Dakake bet and Pescatori raised. To the surprise of the Italian, Dakake folded and Pescatori let out a loud "whattt?" before flashing .
"I had an ace," Dakake mentioned and was left once again with a very short stack.
Max Pescatori raised from early position and Yuval Bronshtein three-bet on the button, which the Italian called. Pescatori ended up check-calling a bet on the flop, the turn and the river.
"I have a straight, Bronshtein announced and tabled as winning hand.
The remaining 20 players are on their final 15-minute break of the night. Once they return to the tables, they will play another half level for 30 minutes total and bag up for tomorrow.
Brandon Shack-Harris lost a big pot to Paul Sokoloff before the break and suddenly dropped to the short stack. He got into a razz hand with table neighbor Jan Stein just now and except for a completion on third street, nothing much was happening. As they checked sixth street, Stein joked "this is gonna be a close one," and the seventh street was also checked.
Stein flashed and Shack-Harris double checked his cards before mucking for the slightly inferior hand.

David Singer completed and Wayne LaMonica called before Adam Crawford raised, picking up calls from both players. Singer bet fourth and fifth street and received a call from both players before it was LaMonica that checked sixth street. Crawford bet and Singer raised, again both opponents called.
On seventh street, the action checked to Singer and he bet. LaMonica quickly folded, while Crawford did so after plenty of consideration. "I folded an eight," Crawford added and Singer replied with a "good fold" to claim the last hand of the night.
