The dealer was already counting out the double for Kostadin Kostadinov in the big blind, as he had just doubled through Pei Li who was on the button.
Kostadin Kostadinov:QxQx
Pei Li: A♠10♣
The board had been dealt as 10♠7♣Q♣8♠Jx and Kostadinov's set of queens gave him the pot.
In the next hand, the middle position player raised and Kostadinov jammed the small blind. His opponent folded, and he picked up more chips, taking him to over double starting stack.
In a blind-on-blind situation, Edward Yam from the small blind put his opponent from the big blind at risk.
Big blind: A♠K♠
Edward Yam: K♦Q♠
Yam was behind but catapulted into the lead after the dealer laid out a flop of 2♦Q♥4♣. The Q♣ turn improved Yam to trips which left his opponent drawing dead, as the 7♥ filled out the board.
Scott Seiver was all in and at risk from the small blind and was up against a player in the big blind.
Scott Seiver: A♠K♥
Big Blind: 7♠7♥
The dealer ran out a board of Q♦4♦J♥J♠Q♣ securing the double up for Seiver. Seiver is hoping he can win a record breaking fourth bracelet this summer with a deep run in Event #99
