Mermelstein Adds to Massive Stack With a Double Knockout
Nível 28
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
According to the players, Aaron Mermelstein opened from the hijack and Toan Nguyen went all in from the cutoff for around 1,100,000 chips. Joseph Couden was next on the button and called all in for around 400,000 chips. After the blinds folded, Mermelstein called the all-ins.
Joseph Couden: A♥Q♥
Toan Nguyen: J♦J♣
Aaron Mermelstein: A♦K♥
The flop came A♣K♦2♥ and gave Mermelstein a massive advantage with top two pair.
The turn 7♣ and river 3♥ changed nothing, Couden and Nguyen were out and Mermelstein added to his already very healthy stack.
