2024 World Series of Poker
Daniel James raised to 2,500 from early position and the player in the cutoff three-bet all in to 15,000 and James made the call.
Cutoff: A♦J♣
Daniel James: 7♥7♣
The board went well for James with 9♠Q♦9♥5♦4♣ and the sevens held for two pair and the win.
Anthony Accetta, who was in the cutoff and the under the gun player got it all in on the flop of 8♥8♦10♦. Under the gun had around 20,000 chips to bet on the flop and was the player at risk.
Under the gun: A♦K♦
Anthony Accetta: A♠8♠.
The turn 9♣ and river J♣ meant no improvement for the all in player and he was eliminated, while Accetta took down a nice pot.
The action was caught with approximately 17,500 in the middle with three players looking at a flop of J♦8♠3♦.
Both the hijack and Kenneth Kim, in the cutoff, checked the action to the button, who bet out 7,000. The hijack called and Kim check-raised making it 35,000 to go. The button folded and the hijack called off the bet for his effective stack and tournament life.
Hijack: 10♦9♥
Kenneth Kim: K♥J♠
Kim was ahead with top pair while the hijack was open-ended. The 2♠ turn and 9♣ river failed to improve the hijack's draw and he was sent to the rail.
The action was caught as Leo Margets, in early position, had both the short stacks in the hijack and the small blind all in and at risk.
Hijack: A♥J♦
Small Blind: A♦7♦
Leo Margets: Q♥Q♥
Margets held the most premium of the three holdings and the 6♣5♠K♦8♠10♣ runout saw her hand hold to scoop the pot, sending both her opponents to the rail.
Mario Lopez on the button and Tudor Bartha in the small blind got it all in preflop. Bartha was the shorter stack with less than 15 big blinds.
Tudor Bartha: A♥A♦
Mario Lopez: K♥Q♣
The flop came 4♦K♣5♥ and Bartha was still ahead. The turn K♠, however, changed everything, giving Lopez trips and having Bartha draw to two outs. They did not come, the river was the 8♦, and Bartha’s tournament was over.
Jeremy Ausmus raised from early position, finding the big blind, who defended.
The 7♣A♣9♣ flop checked through to 8♥. The big blind check-called a bet of 2,600 from Ausmus.
The 9♠ river checked to a showdown. The big blind tabled A♦3♦, while Ausmus scooped this pot with A♠10♥ for the superior kicker.
Nível: 9
Blinds: 600/1,200
Ante: 1,200
The player in middle position raised to 2,000 and a player in late position called and Lukas Hafner three-bet to 8,400. The middle position player moved all in for 23,600, the late position player folded and Hafner called from the big blind.
Middle position: 9♠9♣
Lukas Hafner: A♦A♠
Hafner was way ahead and stayed that way when the board ran out with J♣2♦6♦7♥5♠.
The pot had already swelled to an impressive 37,000 with two players heading to a flop of 3♦9♠4♠.
The player under the gun checked the action to Danny Noam, in the cutoff. Noam placed a small bet of 6,000 and his opponent called.
The 8♦ turn saw Noam's opponent check. Noam moved all in for 36,400 and the under the gun player went deep into the tank, eventually settling on a fold.
