It's time for Day 2 of Event #92: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em at the 2024 World Series of Poker, hosted at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

On Day 1, 150 entrants were registered by the end of the day, setting a new record for Day 1 entries. However, registration remains open throughout the first level of Day 2, so time will tell if it will break the overall record of 176 set in the 2023 edition.

Of the 150 entries, only 53 have advanced to Day 2. WSOP bracelet winner Joseph Cheong stands out as the only player to bag over three million chips, starting the day with an impressive 3,350,000. Poker icon and Hall of Famer Erik Seidel is the next closest, bringing in 1,930,000 and David Peters is hot on his heels, starting today with 1,760,000.

The competition will be tough, as Christoph Vogelsang (1,255,000), Ben Lamb (1,080,000), Leon Sturm (675,000), Joao Vieira (665,000), Chris Brewer (615,000), Ren Lin (540,000) Daniel Negreanu (510,000), Viktor Blom (500,000), Nacho Barbero (395,000), Adrian Mateos (370,000), Jason Koon (345,000), and Stephen Chidwick (318,000) have all advanced to Day 2.

Late registration is still open throughout Level 13 of Day 2, and one reentry is allowed, so defending champion Alex Kulev could still take a seat.

Day 2 will restart at 1 p.m. at Level 13 (blinds 10,000/20,000, ante 20,000) and will end when five players remain. To reach this goal, they'll play as many 40-minute levels as needed, with a 15-minute break every 3 levels. There will also be a 60-minute dinner break after Level 21 (around 7:30 p.m.).
