Melanson Gets the Triple
Nível 22
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Harlan Penn opened 70,000 in middle position and Paul Mattioda called on the button before Dustin Melanson came along in the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of 5♦4♠3♦ and Melanson fired 100,000. Both Penn and Mattioda made the call.
The 6♦ hit the turn and Melanson moved in for his last 5,000, and both players tossed in a chip to call.
When the 2♦ landed on the river, neither player made a bet and Melanson rolled Q♦7♥6♥4♣ for a flopped straight. Penn tabled A♣K♣K♠9♠ and Mattioda tossed his cards face down. The dealer let Mattioda know all hands must be tabled and she quickly flashed his hand before pushing the pot to Melanson.
