Daisuke Ogita raised from the button to 3,500,000 and big blind James Cavanaugh, the short stack 3-handed, three-bet to 11,100,000. Ogita called.

The flop was dealt 6♠3♠2♦ and Cavanaugh put his last 16,500,000 in the middle and Ogita called to put him at risk of elimination.

The turn was the 6♥ and the 7♦ completed the board and as Cavanaugh put it: "A seven is not going to do it!"

He cheered loud while the Japanese player counted the exact amount he needed to give his neighbor.

Cavanaugh fired a bet of 3,000,000, getting the call from Wilhelm. Cavanaugh showed A♣A♥8♥4♣ for aces up, good enough to take the pot as Wilhelm mucked.

The flop was K♣5♥7♠ and Ogita bet 4,000,000. Wilhelm called again to see the 8♠ roll off. This time Ogita checked to Wilhelm who bet 11,000,000. Ogita took his time before he announced all in for effectively 41,200,000 as he covered the German. A snap-call followed and they opened up.

The 3♥ on the river didn't pair the board and Wilhelm's straight was the best hand and won him the pot.

Shorty after, James Cavanaugh lost a pot to Ogita where he gave up on the river and the Japanese player recovered some of his losses leaving Cavanaugh as the clear short stack.

Juan Lapido completed his small blind and big blind Daisuke Ogita raised to 3,000,000. The Spaniard called and both saw the 9♠4♠4♥ flop dealt.

Both checked to see the 7♠ on the turn and they checked again. The dealer flipped over the 10♦ on the river. Lapido had only 5,000,000 behind and Ogita put him all in for his tournament life. Lapido thought about it and he called.

Ogita had flopped a boat with A♣9♦8♣4♦ and that was enough to win the pot versus the Q♠J♣10♣9♥ of Lapido. Ogita also won his $1,000 bounty.

Amit Ben Yacov completed his small blind but big blind James Cavanaugh had different plans. He bumped it up to 3,000,000. Ben Yacov wasn't done with the hand yet as he three-bet to 9,000,000. He got a call from Cavanaugh and Ben Yacov would see the flop with only 8,300,000 behind.

The flop was dealt 3♥5♣4♣ and Ben Yacov checked. Cavanaugh went all-in. Ben Yacov decided to fold.

When asked by Cavanugh if he had "Something like AxKxQxJx" Ben Yacov nodded his head yes.

A pair of checks from the blinds led to Ogita firing 3,000,000 into the middle. Wilhelm called while Ben Yacov let his hand go.

Wilhelm checked again on the J♦ turn, making the call when Ogita continued for 16,000,000.

Both players then checked down the A♣ river, with Wilhelm flipping over K♠K♣9♣7♦ for a flush. Ogita mucked, allowing Wilhelm to regain the chip lead.
