Whelan Doubles Through Leah
Nível 19
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Mike Leah raised to 350,000 on the button and Sean Whelan called from the big blind.
Whelan checked the 7♣10♣Q♦ flop. Leah bet 300,000 and was met with a shove all-in by Whelan for 1,830,000. Leah called and the cards were flipped over.
Sean Whelan: 10♠7♠
Mike Leah: A♣K♥
The 2♦ on the turn and the K♣ on the river didn't improve Leah enough to eliminate Whelan, as the two pair of Whelan earned him a much-needed double up.
