When the 865 flop hit the felt, Kornuth check-called a bet of 35,000.

The Q hit the turn and Kornuth checked once again before facing a bet of 100,000 from Leah. After about 30 seconds, Kornuth mucked his hand.

The action folded around to Chance Kornuth in the small blind and he pushed a stack of greens across the line. Grant Dekker was in the big blind and thought about it for about 20 seconds before calling off his 240,000.

Dekker smashed the AA2 flop as he made trip aces. The 4 turn gave Kornuth a gutshot but the 9 river was a brick as Dekker collected his double.

Sotiropoulos Takes From Frields

On a board of 6J10A5 John Frields bet 60,000 and Georgios Sotiropoulos went deep into the tank, thinking for around a minute before eventually putting in the call.

Frields showed Q10 for a pair of tens, which was second best to the KJ of Sotiropoulos for a pair of jacks.

Thanarattrakul Continues to Chip Up as Moulder Hits the Rail

Kannapong Thanarattrakul moved all-in on the button and Patrick Moulder called off his stack of less than 100,000 from the small blind.

The 843KQ run out gave Thanarattrakul a pair of queens to send Moulder to the payout desk.

Thanarattrakul Clicks the River

Action was picked up a completed board of AA6Q8 in a hand between Kannapong Thanarattrakul in the small blind and Mason Vieth in the hijack.

Thanarattrakul checked and Vieth bet 190,000 into a pot of around 110,000. Thanarattrakul deliberated for some time before he cut out a raise to 405,000. Vieth went deep into the tank with just 360,000 behind but he eventually decided to let it go.

During Vieth's post-mortem, Thanarattrakul commented to Vieth, "Nice fold."

Bedson Busts

Daniel Bedson opened 30,000 in early position before Takashi Ogura put in a three-bet to 85,000 on the button. Bedson jammed for about 325,000 and Ogura snap-called.

It was a classic race and the 1054K3 gave Ogura a pair of kings to eliminate Bedson.

Wongwichit Wins With Big Slick

Charles Honkonen and Phachara Wongwichit just got all their chips in the middle preflop with Wongwichit being the player at risk of elimination.

The board came 10369J, and Wongwichit's set of jacks earned him the double up.

Honkonen was eliminated a few hands later.

Ragozzini Makes a Flush and Gets Paid

Brett Halan opened to 30,000 from middle position and Sean Ragozzini defended his big blind.

On the AK4 flop, Ragozzini check-called a 20,000 bet from Halan.

The 9 turn checked through.

The river brought the A. Ragozzini led for 85,000 which sent Halan into the tank. After some deliberation he eventually tossed in calling chips. He got the bad news as Ragozzini tabled J2 which was good to drag a modest pot as he continues to accumulate.
