Coleman check-called another bet from Arieh on the A turn, this time for 30,000.

On the 7 river Coleman checked, Arieh bet 100,000 and this time it was enough to force a fold from Coleman.

Action was picked up on a 1097 flop in a hand between Matt Vengrin from under the gun and Rupesh Pattni in the big blind.

Vengrin bet 15,000 and Pattni responded with a check-jam for 81,500. Vengrin confirmed the count before he put in the call.

Vengrin had a dominating flush draw which materialized on the 3 turn. However, Pattni still had one out with the 10 which did not come as the river was the K and Pattni hit the rail.

With three players seeing a board of K106 and about 20,000 in the middle, Kyle Loman checked from the small blind, Qiang Xu checked from the big blind and Scott Seiver bet 10,000 from the button. Both opponents made the call.

All three players checked the 9 turn and 2 river. Loman revealed that he had top set with KK but Seiver had turned a striaght with J875 to take the pot.

Another year, another record with the 2024 WSOP Main Event having surpassed last year's figure of 10,043.

The official figure is as yet unconfirmed, but the WSOP has announced that the record was broken shortly after 3 p.m. local time midway through the second level of Day 1d.

The prize pool is also yet to be announced, but it's widely expected to be a figure similar to the $12,100,000 that Daniel Weinman won twelve months ago.

Late registration remains open until approximately 5:10 p.m. ET. The WSOP is reminding players who wish to max late register the Main Event that they need to be registered and IN LINE at the Late Registration desk by the start of Level 8.

Coleman bet fourth through seventh streets and received calls from Kuppusamyvenkates each time. Kuppusamyvenkates ended with two pair but Coleman had made trip aces on fifth street to take down a sizable pot while his opponent was left with roughly one quarter of a starting stack.
