Garrido Portaleoni Doubles Through Sanchez Otero

First to act, Brazil's Rodrigo Garrido Portaleoni raised to 2,000,000 and kept slightly more than two big blinds behind. The action folded to Guillermo Sanchez Otero in the big blind and he pushed all in with the covering stack. Garrido Portaleoni called.

Yake Wu opened to 525,000 with the 4♥4♣ and Niklas Astedt with the K♠J♣ and Elliot Kassas with the A♥10♥ both called.

Kessas and Wu checked on the flop of J♥5♥9♦ and Astedt bet 800,000. Kessas called and Wu folded. Kessas checked again on the Q♣ turn and Astedt checked back.

Kessas bet 2,500,000 on the 3♥ river and Astedt folded.

Four-Bet Costs Hernandez

Gerardo Hernandez opened to 500,000 from the cutoff before Joe Serock three-bet to 1,425,000 on the button. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Hernandez, who responded with a four-bet to 3,700,000. Serock opted to flat to generate a pot of over 8,000,000 heading to the flop.

The flop came 9♣3♣7♠, prompting Hernandez to check. Serock pushed 1,900,000 into the middle and was met by a swift fold to chip up significantly early in the day.

Angelov Doubles Through Russell

Boris Angelov defended against a raise by Charles Russell and checked the Q♠10♠4♥ flop, after which Russell continued for 600,000. Angelov then check-jammed for 3,200,000 and Russell reluctantly called.

Angelov was ahead with the top pair and it remained that way after the A♦ turn as well as the 7♦ river.

Griff Leaves Juarez Short

Jordan Griff raised to 500,000 under the gun and Mauro Juarez called in the big blind.

Griff bet 300,000 on the A♠10♠9♥ flop and Juarez called. The turn was the 6♦ and Griff bet another 600,000.

Juarez again called to the 4♣ river, where Griff bet 1,175,000, enough to put Juarez all in. Juarez folded this time and Griff took down the pot.

Trimmer Jams and Serock Chips Up Some More

Julio Trimmer moved all in for 3,400,000 from the button and folded out the blinds for a pick-up.

On the next deal, Nick Jivkov contemplated jamming for his last 1,000,000 from under the gun, but opted to fold. Gerardo Hernandez then opened to 500,000 from middle position and was called by Joe Serock from the hijack.

On the 8♦5♦8♥ flop, Hernandez continued for 425,000, a little larger than the 350,000 continuation-bets that have been the norm on the right feature table thus far. Serock called.

The 7♥ turn saw some straight and flush draws complete and Hernandez checked. Serock fired out 725,000 and folded out his opponent.

Nagami Raises Out Kim

Kyosuke Nagami raised to 500,000 in early position before Brian Kim three-bet to 1,650,000 in the big blind. Nagami called and they went heads-up to the A♣J♠10♠ flop.

Kim led out for another 800,000 and Nagami came back with a raise to 2,200,000. Kim folded and Nagami took down the pot.

Shylko Rivers Flush to Double Up

Aliaksandr Shylko and [Removed:499] were heads up on a turn of K♥K♣A♠J♣.

With around 2,000,000 chips already in the middle, Shylko checked from the big blind before Slobodskoy fired 875,000 chips from the cutoff.

Shylko called to see the 2♣ river on which he checked again. Slobdskoy then put Shylko all in for his final 2,500,000 or so chips. Shylko snap-called and tabled A♣7♣ for the nut flush.

Slobodskoy showed K♠4♠ for the losing trips as he surrendered about one-third of his stack to his opponent.
