The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.

Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.

There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.

Daniel Jones

While Foxen was doubling up, another all-in and call situation occurred at a feature table with Daniel Jones in early position who saw his 2,280,000 chip stack called by David Collins in the big blind.

Daniel Jones: QQ All in
David Collins: KK

Only a queen could save Jones after the 102A flop. But there was no queen on the 3 turn and the 10 river so Jones was eliminated.

With around 2,000,000 already in the pot and the flop showing Q42, Charles Russell bet 800,000 in the hijack and Kevin Theodore called on the button.

The turn was the 8 and Russell bet 1,800,000. Theodore called again as the J fell on the river. Russell then bet 1,300,000.

Theodore called once more and Russell turned over AQ for a pair of queens. Theodore mucked as Russell took down the massive pot.

"We need a queen," Barclay called out to his rail as the flop came 352.

"I'll take a four," he added, pleading for a chop. The 6 turn was no help, while the river was the 5 and Latinois's king-kicker was enough to earn him his second knockout in as many hands.
