Haziza Gets a Shove Through

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The completed board showed K924J and Shashi Ramakrishna had checked to table neighbour Oren Haziza, who moved all-in with the covering stack.

Haziza asked the dealer if he could talk about the hand but the dealer reminded him it was not possible, instead suggesting to talk about the weather.

"It is so hot here ... can I tell him what I think he has?" Haziza followed up and the dealer shook her head.

"Ace nine of spades is a problem," Ramakrishna replied and folded shortly after.

Haziza tabled the AA and then said "hey guys, I made it to Day 5, I am not a donkey".

Another player remarked "we already know that ace nine is in your range," referring to one of the first hands played in which Haziza prevailed with ace-nine suited versus pocket queens.

Rosenblum continued for 100,000 on the K9Q flop, but only Bechahed called. There was no more action on the 10 turn and the 4 river, and Rosenblum flipped over KQ for two pair. Bechahed sent his cards into the muck.

A few minutes later, Aguilera ran into Bechahed's aces and was eliminated. After he finished 10th last year for $700,000, he wins $40,000 this year.
