Nível 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Janelle Jacobson defended her big blind against a button raise by Leonard Maue and checked the J42 flop. Maue bet 75,000 and folded when Jacobson check-raised to 200,000.

One hand later, she raised to 110,000 in the small blind and Malcolm Franchi called in the big blind. The AQ8 flop brought with it a bet worth 130,000 by Jacobson and Franchi called. After the K turn, she checked and Franchi bet 300,000 to take down the pot.

Pitavy Shoves the River

Nível 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Picking up the action on the river, Emilien Pitavy from under the gun was involved in a hand with Rene Nezhoda in early position.

With the board reading 6QAK3 and around 500,000 in the pot Pitavy moved all in for 360,000. Nezhoda sighed, said he "should be snap calling" but instead chose to muck AxJx face up, explaining that he was deviating from GTO play to adjust to Pitavy's body language.

Dourado Puts the Wheels in Motion for Ayoub's Wild Ride to the Rail

Nível 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Aloisio Dourado
Aloisio Dourado

Steven Ayoub opened to 80,000 from early position and called when Aloisio Dourado three-bet to 250,000 from middle position. Ayoub check-called for 175,000 on the K98 flop and then check-called Dourado's jam of 850,000 on the 9 turn. Ayoub tabled 66 but was behind his opponent's AK, who took in the double up after the K river.

On the next deal, Ayoub put in his last 285,000 from under the gun and Hiroki Nawa called on his direct left. Ayoub turned over A6 and was dominated by Nawa's AQ. Ayoub paired up on the 862103 runout to stay in contention.

Then, in a limped pot between the blinds, Daniel Zadok and Ayoub checked action through to the river for the final board to read 4J8Q4. Zadok bet 150,000 and Ayoub called. Zadok had trips with 64 to take the pot. Ayoub flashed the 8 and lamented about letting Zadok get there.

The following hand, Michael Jagroo raised to 300,000 from middle position, leaving 45,000 behind. Ayoub jammed from the small blind as the slightly bigger stack and Jagroo put in the rest of his chips. Ayoub, with QxJx, was flipping against 88. Ayoub paired up on the Q64 flop to take the lead and looked to send Jagroo out after the 5 turn. The 8 river saw Jagroo improve to a set of eights, leaving Ayoub with 95,000.

Ayoub folded his hand on the next shuffle but the last of it went in when he was in the cutoff. Dourado and Boris Kolev called from the blinds. Dourado led out for 150,000 on the QJ10 flop and then check-called for 305,000 on the 10 turn. The 5 river then checked through to showdown.

Dourado tabled K9 for a king-high straight, besting Kolev's Q9. Ayoub turned over Q7, and wished the table good luck before he headed to the payout desk.

Calderaro Folds to Carden's Turn Shove

Nível 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Mauro Jaurez opened to 80,000 from under the gun and was three-bet by James Calderaro from the next seat to 230,000. The action folded around to Joseph Carden in the big blind who made it 650,000, which Calderaro only called.

On a flop of 6104, Carden continued for 325,000, and Calderaro called.

When the J hit the turn, Carden shoved for around 1,700,000, which sent Calderaro deep into the tank. Several minutes passed and Calederaro still hadn't made a decision.

"What the F*** you got?" asked Calderaro in a joking manner.

Eventually, Calderaro made the fold by throwing his cards into the middle of the table.

"Queens or kings?' asked Carden.

"Queens," replied Calderaro.

Gorham and Sanchez Chip Up

Nível 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Diogo Veiga had vanished with Neal Corcoran jumping back to his comfortable bigger stack.

One table over, Francisco Sanchez took advantage of the AKK8A river when Randy Gattesco check-folded to his bet and flashed the 88. As he collected the pot, Sanchez smirked and then exposed the 77 for a successful bluff.

"Wait, what did he have?" Gattesco on the other side of the table asked and when he was told, shot out of the table with a loud "son of a bitch" as a joke, with the entire table bursting out in laughter.

While that hand was played out, Orson Young limped the small blind and called a raise to 140,000 by Jimmy Gorham in the big blind one table over. They checked the J63 flop and Young led the 5 turn for 185,000, Gorham called.

Young also bet the 5 river for 425,000 and then tank-folded when Gorham raised it up to 1,400,000.
