Shiina Okamoto raised from the hijack. Lingkun Lu, in the big blind, three-bet to 52,000. Okamoto tanked before responding with a four-bet to 125,000.
The action was back on Lu, who put in a five-bet to 250,000. A large crowd started to form as Okamoto spent a considerable amount of time in the tank, finally electing to fold. As the pot was shipped his way, Lu tabled 7♠2♠, much to the table's surprise.

With less than 100 players to go before the money would be reached, Noah Boeken three-bet a raise of 12,000 from the player under the gun to 40,000 in the small blind.
His opponent called and also called when the 2♦10♥4♣ saw Boeken bet 31,000 chips. Boeken then sized up to 68,000 on the 5♦ turn and was called again.
Finally, Boeken fired 117,000 on the J♦ river and was looked up for the last time. Boeken showed A♠A♦ for a pair of aces, and his opponent flung his cards into the muck.

Christoph Csik made it 12,000 from middle position. On his direct left, Jessica Vierling three-bet to 40,000. Luis Vazquez called in the hijack and Csik also called to make it three-way to the flop.
The flop came J♣9♦7♣. Vierling jammed all in, Vazquez called and Csik got out of the way.
Jessica Vierling: Q♥Q♠
Luis Vazquez: A♣Q♣
Vierling would need to fade clubs but she would be unable to do so as the 2♣ binked off instantly on the turn. The river was the 8♣ as a formality.
Vierling put her hands on her head in disappointment, clearly crushed that her main event dream had been dashed and she walked away from the tables.

Jason Somerville was heads-up from middle position against a player on the button on a completed board of 3♦Q♥7♥4♦10♣ with a large pot already in the middle.
Somerville checked to his opponent, who bet 58,000. Somerville then check-raised to 200,000, sending his opponent deep into the tank.
The button eventually thought better of it and folded and Somerville dragged the nice pot without showing.

A player opened in middle position and was called by Francisco Perez Moreno in the cutoff as well as a player in the big blind.
The big blind checked following the 6♥K♦A♣ flop and the middle position player continued. Perez made the call while the big blind folded to send action heads-up to the turn.
The turn came 9♥, prompting the middle position player to slow down, checking to Perez, who bet 45,000 into a pot of roughly 75,000. His opponent took another look at his cards, then mucked to send even more chips over to Perez as he nears the two million mark.
