Hatchel Overbet Shoves River and Gets Called Light

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

There were over 100,000 chips in the middle on a board of 3KAAA when Tyler Hatchel shoved into his opponent for around 250,000 effective. Hatchel's opponent was deep into the tank and didn't seem to believe the story that Hatchel was telling. Eventually, the opponent pushed his stack of chips into the middle.

Hatchel tabled 77 for aces full of sevens, and the opponent stared back at the board & his cards before tossing them into the muck for nobody to see, then vacated the tournament area.

"I was value betting," remarked Hatchel.

Kevin Killeen opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by Dan Shak on the button for a heads-up pot.

Killeen proceeded to check-call bets from Shak on every street. First for 10,500 on the 625 flop, then for 35,000 on the 8 turn, and finally for Killeen's remaining 106,500 on the 10 river.

Action came in on the turn as the board read QA103. The pot had about 88,000 in it and two of the bigger stacks were clashing as Raul Manzanares bet 52,000 from early position.

Hai Pham was in the hijack and raised to 125,000 which Manzanares called after a moment. The river was the K to put three to a royal on board. Manzanares led with a small bet of 33,000. Pham called quickly.

Manzanares tabled the KJ and Pham showed the KJ as the players bumped fists and chopped the pot up.
