Lech Finds The Hero Call

Nível 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Michael Lech called in the small blind and another player checked his option in the big blind.

The flop rolled out 964 and Lech bet 2,500 which his opponent called.

Both players checked the Q turn to the K river where Lech checked over to his opponent who bet 5,000 which had Lech squirming in his chair uncomfortably.

After some thought, Lech tossed in a single chip and his opponent whipped his cards into the muck frustrated. The WSOP bracelet winner took down the pot without any showdown necessary.

The flop came 48K and the middle position player checked to Oshust, who bet out 20,000. His opponent then raised Oshust all in for 78,000, and Oshust snap called.

Brian Oshust: AA All in
Middle Position: AJ

Oshust had his opponent crushed with his pocket aces, needing to fade running cards to stay in the tournament. When the 9 hit the turn, it left his opponent drawing dead. Once the 4 came on the river, Oshust secured the double up.

A player in the cutoff moved all in for around 8,000 and the button called. Tom Gottlieb then reraised to 18,000. "You would've been better off against my hand," the button told the at-risk player as he folded, saying he had ace-jack.

Gottlieb had picked up kings to leave his opponent at risk of elimination. The board ran out J2697 and Gottlieb's kings remained in the lead to narrow the field by one.
