David Collins opened to 3,500 from middle position and was called by Michael Whitton on the button and the player int he big blind for a three-way pot.
Action checked through on the J♦9♣7♠ flop and then the player in the big blind led out for 4,500 after the 2♣ fell on the turn. Only Whitton called.
The 8♠ completed the board and the big blind bet 10,000. Whitton thought a bit before calling his opponent turned over K♣6♣ for a busted flush draw.
Whitton held Q♦8♦ for a pair of eights and took down the pot.

Action folded to Kevin Ordet, who raised to 3,500 on the button, and then things escalated quickly after the small blind folded.
The player in the big blind three-bet to 11,500, returning action to Ordet.
Ordet paused a moment before reaching into his stack for chips, and then four-bet to 27,000.
The player in the big blind responded with a five-bet by moving all in, and Ordet immediately called to put his opponent at risk.
“You have aces?” the player in the big blind asked.
He would discover Ordet had the next best thing when the hands were tabled.
Player in Big Blind: J♣J♠
Kevin Ordet: K♥K♠
Ordet had the lead in the hand and it remained that way after the dealer fanned 7♥7♠2♠ on the flop. The 10♣ on the turn and Q♠ on the river gave Ordet the win and knockout blow.

Heads-up on a board of Q♦J♦7♦8♣, a player in the small blind bet 12,000 before Michael Wang moved all in for 32,000.
The small blind was barely covered by Wang and tanked for a minute before he called, showing A♥K♠ for a straight draw. Wang had 8♠8♦ for a set of eights and held up on the 6♥ river to send his opponent to the rail.

Action folded to a player in middle position, and he raised to 3,000. Jordan Spurlin called from the hijack, as did Stanley Tang on the button.
The flop came 3♣A♠Q♣ and all three players checked to the turn.
After the 8♦ on the turn, the middle position player bet out 4,000. Spurlin called, and Tang folded.
The river was the 4♦ and the middle position player checked to Spurlin, who bet 26,500 to put his opponent all in. After taking a minute to think over his decision, he did make the call.
Spurlin tabled A♥10♥ for a pair of aces, and the all-in player tossed K♠K♥ into the muck as they left the tournament area.

Tom Dwan raised to 3,000 in early position before Johannes Becker three-bet to 12,000 on the button. Dwan called and they went heads-up to the K♣10♦3♦ flop.
Becker bet another 11,000 and Dwan called. Both players then checked the A♣ turn.
The river was the K♥ and Becker fired out 34,000. Dwan immediately turned around the table and leaned back in his chair as he shuffled his chips for several minutes. He eventually tossed them in to call and Becker showed him K♠Q♠ for trips to win the pot.

Santhosh Amingad opened the cutoff to 3,000 and Benny Glaser three-bet from the small blind to 12,000. Once the big blind folded, Amingad made the call.
They saw a flop of 2♦Q♦6♠ where Glaser bet 7,000, and Amingad called.
When the A♥ landed on the turn, Glaser continued the aggression with another bet of 25,500, and again Amingad called.
On the J♥ river, Glaser slowed down with a check, and after some thinking, Amingad checked back.
Glaser tabled K♦J♦ for a pair of jacks, but Amingad had the winner with A♦9♦ after he turned a pair of aces.
