Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The player in the cutoff made a raise to 800, David Lappin three-bet to 2,700 in the cutoff, and Pierce McKellar made it 7,500 to go in the big blind. The cutoff quickly folded before Lappin obliged with extra chips.

McKellar continued for 4,000 on the 44A flop and Lappin check-called. Both players then checked the 9 turn before the A fell on the river.

Lappin checked again before McKellar bet 13,000 chips. Lappin spent a little time in the tank but ultimately let his hand go, forfeiting the pot.

Konakchiev and Adomkevicius Among the Big Stacks

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Aneris Adomkevicius raised and was called only by Diego Gomez in the big blind. They checked down the J6463 board and Gomez tabled the K7 for a pair of sixes and king-high. Adomkevicius glanced at his cards twice and mucked but remains above two times the starting stack.

Also a big stack in the Horseshoe Ballroom is Valentino Konakchiev, who has a similar stack size. Konakchiev continued for 500 on a AA10 flop and Ashley McKay check-called. They checked the K turn and McKay's bet of 2,600 on the 6 river won the pot uncontested.

Kornuth Set up and Straightened Out

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

Three ways on a flop of 465, Chance Kornuth checked from the small blind and the player in the big blind checked to Matthew Ledger, who bet 1,100 on the button. Kornuth then check-raised to 3,900, which got a fold from the big blind and a call from Ledger.

Ledger called a 5,800 bet from Kornuth on the 9 turn and Kornuth fired 13,000 into the middle after the 8 completed the board.

Ledger shoved after a bit of thought, which was enough to put Kornuth all in for 55,600 total.

"This might take a bit, ya'll," Kornuth said, clearly struggling with his decision.

After several minutes, Kornuth said he didn't think he could fold and put in the call while tabling 66 for a flopped set of sixes.

Ledger showed Kornuth the bad news as he turned over 77 for a rivered straight to eliminate Kornuth early on Day 1d.

"Good luck guys," Kornuth wished his tablemates as he exited the tournament area.
