Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Hector Berry opened to 400 from middle position and received calls from Max Broens in the small blind and Eduard Burd in the big blind.

The flop came 227 and action checked around to Berry who bet 600. Only Broens called.

Gang Zhao bet 3,500 from middle position on a board of Q9J6 and Romain Bailleul called in the hijack. Daniel Samson then raised to 15,000 in the small blind and only Bailleul called.

The river was the 2 and Samson bet 30,000. Bailleul quickly folded.

"I had ace-ten of spades. Just put another spade out there," Bailleul said.

"We're supposed to be playing small, but the pots keep getting bigger and bigger," Samson added.

Another Day, Another First-Hand Bustout from the Main Event

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Greg Raymer
Greg Raymer

After yesterday saw TWO players bust on the very first hand of Day 1a, you'd have thought players would have been a little bit more cautious on Day 1b of the 2004 WSOP Main Event.

However, no sooner had 2004 WSOP Main Event champion Greg Raymer uttered the immortal words "shuffle up and deal", a player hit the rail.

No quads, no full house — but someone sitting with double starting stack barely five minutes into the day. Check it out here!

Chen's Big River Bet Gets Through

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was picked up on a 623 flop with 5,200 in the middle.

Chuanshu Chen had bet 2,000 from the cutoff and was called by the button and hijack.

The K turn rolled off and action checked to the button who fired 3,000. Both the hijack and Chen made the call.

The backdoor flush got there when the Q river rolled off and Chen wagered 12,000, but both his opponents folded.

Lockhart Shows the Bullets

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Thierry van den Berg raised from early position to 700 and was three-bet to 2,100 by Jason Lockhart on the button. Van den Berg called and they went to the flop heads-up.

Van den Berg checked the 3QJ flop and faced a bet of 2,400 from Lockhart. Van den Berg folded and Lockhart was kind enough to turn over AA as he took in the pot.

Bahena Goes For it All

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was picked up with two players in the hand with 42,000 in the pot on a board showing 9A377.

The player in the big blind checked to Michael Bahena, who announced all in for 30,000. After thinking about his decision for over a minute, the big blind chose to fold his hand and give the pot to Bahena.
