The river came 8♦ and Selbst checked one more time. Steinwachs, unwilling to go to a cheap showdown, fired off 10,000. Selbst took quite a bit of time before calling, seemingly with some reluctance. Steinwachs tabled A♣7♦ for top pair, which was good enough to take down the pot.
