Ghio Surrenders a Massive Pot to Werner

Nearly 60,000 was already in the middle as Joe Ghio and Aaron Werner went to the turn on a board of 8♥8♦A♥4♦. Werner then bet 18,000 from early position and Ghio called in the small blind.
The river was the 7♠ and Werner bet 30,000, sending Ghio deep into the tank. "Sorry, guys," he said as the minutes ticked by. Ghio eventually folded and Werner took the massive pot without a showdown.
"Ace-queen of diamonds," tablemate Matt Salsberg said to Ghio.
"Maybe," Ghio replied.
