The players have reached their first 15-minute break of the day.
Dylan Weisman opened to 1,400 on the button and the small blind called to see a flop heads up.
The small blind checked on the flop of 3♠K♦7♠ and called as Weisman continued for 1,800. The opponent checked again on the A♣ turn and opted to fold as the PLO coach sized up to 5,400.
Ami Alibay had just taken down a pot by three-betting with AxKxQx3x and he found himself all in a few hands later.
After some heavy betting preflop against Roussos Koliakoudakis, Alibay got his remaining 20,000 in the middle on the a flop of 7♣8♥6♣ with Koliakoudakis having him covered.
Ami Alibay: 9♣6♠5♠2♣
Roussos Koliakoudakis: K♣Q♣J♠9♥
Alibay was in front with a straight, but the runout of 6♦3♣ gave Koliakoudakis a club flush to mark Alibay's elimination in one of the first bustouts of the day.
Aaron Norgaard Pahlawani in middle position opened to 1,100 and two players in the cutoff and small blind called.
The flop fell J♠A♦J♦ and action checked around.
The turn 2♣ saw the small blind lead for 1,300 and both Pahlawani and the cutoff called.
The 3♦ came on the river and both the small blind and Pahlawani checked to the cutoff who thought for a moment before checking back.
Pahlawani showed A♠K♦Q♣2♦ for a king-high flush and scooped the pot.
Six players put 1,700 each in the middle to see the Q♦5♦2♥ flop, and the action quickly checked around.
The J♣ hit the turn, and both Darren Kennedy and Zachary Grech checked before the under-the-gun player dropped 5,000 across the line. The action folded back around to Kennedy who made the call, as did Grech.
When the 4♣ completed the board, Kennedy checked and Grech splashed a bet of 17,800 across the line. The under-the-gun player quickly folded, and Kennedy thought about it for about 20 seconds before doing the same.
Grech pretended to wipe some sweat off of his forehead and mucked his hand.
