Weiman Takes It Down on the River

Ciraz Weiman raised preflop from under the gun and got called by Scott George in early position and the player in middle position.

The flop came K♦Q♠4♣. Weiman continued for 1,300 which was called by George. Middle position folded.

The turn came 10♠. Weiman now bet 6,000. George snap-called.

The river was the 2♣. Weiman thought for a while and then bet 20,000. George folded face-up, showing A♠6♠ for the turned flush draw, and Weiman took down the pot.

Redden Wins Two Big Ones Back to Back

John Redden had a stack of around 55 big blinds, when he got it all in against Tomas Pagano preflop. Redden was sitting in the button and Pagano, who was on the big stack and had Redden covered, was the big blind.

It was a preflop cooler and Redden was able to hold on 5♠10♥8♣8♥6♣ and double up.

Just a couple of hands later, Redden was again involved in a big pot. After an open from the player in early positition to 1,500, and a call from late position, Redden made it 12,000 from the cutoff. The under the gun folded, but late position called.

The flop came A♦7♣5♥ and, after a check from his opponent, Redden bet 75,000, all but a his smallest chips. Late position, who was the effective stack, thought for a moment and called all in.

Redden was looking good for a knockout, which the turn 5♠ and river 6♠ delivered. In a span of just two hands, Redden was able to build up to over 150 big blinds.

Deardorff Makes Big River Call

Kirsten Deardorff sniffed out her opponent and made a big call on the river in the following hand:

Deardorff raised from late position and received a call from the player in the cutoff. The flop came out with Q♥8♦7♥ and Deardorff continued with a bet of 2,000 which was called.

The turn brought the 4♦ and Deardorff bet again for 4,500 and the cutoff three-bet to 11,500. Deardorff considered for a moment and called.

On the river 10♠ Deardorff checked and the cutoff threw in a bet of 15,000. Again Deardorff considered carefully before throwing in the chips.

The cutoff stated, "Good call," and rolled over A♥6♥ and Deardorff turned over Q♣8♣ for two pair.

Queen on the River for Galan

Andrea Galan all the way from Italy raised from early position to 1,300 and the player in the cutoff and the big blind both called. The flop came out with 2♣J♠10♠ and everyone checked.

On the turn 4♥ the big blind checked and Galan bet out 1,500 and both players made the call.

The river Q♣ saw another bet from Galan after a check from the big blind which was called by the cutoff and the big blind folded.

Andrea Galan tabled K♦Q♠ for the pair of queens and the cutoff showed A♣9♣.
