Team Brown Chipping Up

Nível 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Rob Brown of Team Brown raised to 500 from the cutoff and was called by a player in the small blind.

Action checked through on the 7K9 flop.

The turn was the 6, the small blind bet 1,200 and Brown called.

The river was the 2, the small blind decided to bet 2,200. After some thought, Brown tossed in a chip signifying a call. The small blind tabled A8 for ace-high, which was no good as Brown's A9 for a pair of nines was the winning hand.

PokerNews heard a commotion coming from Table #239. Steven Buckner of Team Cipriano known to most as Cuz was up to his normal shenanigans of chatting up his tablemates.

Dave Olson of Team Jenkins told PokerNews that he may need to take his hearing aid out sitting next to Buckner. PokerNews responded, "You either have the best seat or the worst seat in the house sir, it's a matter of perspective," which got a chuckle from the table.
