Pärssinen Can't Bluff Helppi

Nível 22 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On the tail end of a AK25Q river, Eelis Pärssinen in the big blind asked for the size of the pot and then bet 900,000 into around 1.4 million. Juha Helppi called on the button eventually and Pärssinen showed KJ65 for kings and fives with the nut flush blocker.

Helppi had that beat with K1086 for the flush and scooped the pot, as he said "almost folded" to his fellow countryman.

Pärssinen replied "looked like it" and dropped back into the middle of the pack.

Seven Time Banks Result In a Split Pot

Nível 22 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Liran Twito raised to 150,000 first to act and Joni Jouhjkimainen on the button used two time banks to then call, as did Yang Wang in the big blind. On the AJ9 flop, Wang checked and Twito bet 300,000. Jouhkimainen used another time bank and called, Wang folded.

After the J turn, Twito used one time bank and bet 200,000, Jouhkimainen used another time bank to call.

The J river saw both players check after using one time bank again. Twito showed the AQ104 and Jouhkimainen's AQ98 chopped the pot.

Richard Gryko had a smirk on his face, as he remarked it may have been the "most unique uses of time bank extensions" he had seen so far in a tournament.
