Iman Scores a Knockout
Nível 8
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alex Livingston opened to 7,000 from under the gun and received calls from a player in the cutoff and Dan Iman in the big blind.
The flop came A♦K♠2♣. Iman checked, Livingston bet 10,000, Iman raised to 60,000, the cutoff called and Livingston folded.
On the A♠ turn the cutoff quickly got the rest of his chips in the middle against Dan who covered him.
Cutoff: Q♦J♦10♦9♠
Dan Iman: A♥K♦10♣4♦
Iman had top two pair while his opponent was drawing to a Broadway straight. Iman improved to a full house on the A♠ turn leaving his opponent drawing dead and after the 10♥ river he dragged in a healthy pot while his opponent made his exit from the tournament area.
