Floyd "Played the River Perfectly" to Double
Nível 46
: Blinds 4,000,000/8,000,000, 8,000,000 ante
Yujian Eugen Zhou rasied to 16,000,000 from the button and Brooks Floyd defended in the big blind.
The 3♠6♠4♦ flop saw Floyd play out of flow, leading for 12,000,000. Zhou moved all in almost instantly and Floyd called off for his tournament life.
Brooks Floyd: 6♦5♣
Yujian Eugen Zhou: A♥6♥
Floyd was out-kicked but had an open-ended straight draw for insurance. The 9♣ turn changed nothing but the 2♣ river completed Floyd's straight to double him up.
"You played the river perfectly," joked one member of Floyd's rail as they celebrated together.
