Glaser Saves a Big Bet?

Roland Israelashvili opened to 8,000 from the hijack and Benny Glaser defended from the big blind. Israelashvili drew one while Glaser drew three.

After the first draw Glaser check-called another bet from Israelashvili and drew two while Israelashvili again drew one.

Glaser check-called another bet from Israelashvili after the second draw. Both players drew one.

With no draws remaining Glaser checked and Israelashvili bet once more. Glaser briefly went into the tank.

"I think I'm going to save 8,000 here" Glaser commented after about two minutes of consideration. About 30 seconds later Glaser opted to muck.

Israelashvili told his opponent that the fold was no good as he dragged in the pot.
