Ferreira Halts Jang's Comeback
Hyunsick Jang went for a ride on the ole poker rollercoaster.
Jang first moved all in for 335,000 from middle position, with action folding to Jeffrey Yanchek in the big blind. Yankchek called off his stack of 275,000 and the cards went on their backs.
Jang had 7♦7♥ and was flipping against A♥K♥. The J♥8♦4♣K♦K♣ runout gave Yanchek trips for the double up.
A few hands later, Jang put in his last 60,000 from under the gun. The table got out of the way before Rui Ferreira called from the big blind as the bigger stack.
Jang's Q♦5♥ bested Ferreira's 10♣2♦ after the board ran out with the 9♦7♥3♠5♣7♦.
On the next deal, Zhiyuan Xu opened to 50,000 from the button, with Ferreira calling from the small blind. Jang moved all in once again, looking to continue his spin up. Xu folded but Ferreira called to reclaim his recently lost chips.
