On the river, Ricardo Velasco bet 11,500 from middle position into a pot of around 15,000. The player on the button went all in for around 55,000.

Kiriakidis was dominated but the flop 2♥6♦9♦ gave him life with a flush draw. The turn 4♦ brought in the flush and Kiriakidis, who would have been crippled had he lost the hand, got an extension to his tournament.

Shaun Colquhoun raised from under the gun to 6,000 and Tracie Osborn who was sitting in an awkward position to see the action announced raise in middle position and put in 5,000. The dealer held her to her raise so she raised to 10,000 and the player on the hijack called and Colquhoun called.

The flop came out as 10♥K♣A♠ and Colquhoun bet 7,000 and Osborn three-bet all in for about 30,000 and Colquhoun made the call after the hijack folded.

The turn was the 9♥ and the river was the 10♣ which created a chopped pot, keeping Osborn alive.
