Sykes Drags Healthy Pot with Top Two; Says Hi to His Dad

With about 160,000 in the middle the flop read 10♦6♣5♥, and Mark Sykes bet 45,000 before the button put in a raise to 105,000. Sykes made the call.
The 3♠ fell on the turn and Sykes check-called another bet of 100,000.
When the 7♠ completed the board on the river, Sykes checked once more and the button fired 200,000. Sykes thought about it for a couple of seconds before cutting out the chips to call.
The button sighed as they rolled 2♣2♠ and Sykes raked in the pot with 10♣7♣, making top two on the river.
