Kuznetsov Eliminated by Smith

Nível 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With the cards already on their backs, Nikita Kuznetsov was all-in and at risk on the QJ6 flop with the KQ109 for top pair and a wrap. Justin Smith went into the showdown with the AQ86 for top and bottom pair to then improve on the 6 turn.

Kuznetsov was drawing dead to make the 5 river a formality.

Druckman Prevails In Lengthy Hand

Nível 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jeremy Druckman
Jeremy Druckman

The three-way flop showed 942 and Ryan Leng bet the pot for 32,000 in the small blind. Jeremy Druckman then tanked for a while in the big blind and it seemed as if he was about to muck his cards. However, there was no clear motion and Druckman then took another 30 seconds before he pushed forward his stack of 147,000.

Konstantyn Holsky from under the gun reluctantly folded and Leng was sent into the tank. He had the exact same stack as Druckman and kept glancing at the tournament board, shaking his head repeatedly. Eventually, he folded and suggested that Druckman can see his cards in other spots if he were to show "his best two cards".

Druckman obliged and flashed the 22.

"I had top two and hearts," Leng replied.

Parssinen's Nuts See Action

Nível 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Eelis Parssinen raised to 20,000 in middle position and was called by the player in the hijack. The flop fell 894 and Parssinen bet 25,000, seeing a call from his opponent.

On the 3 turn, Parsinnen sized up to 110,000, the size of the pot, and once again received a call.

The 7 then completed the river, on which Parssinen bet 330,000. His opponent took a few moments, but ultimately pushed in a call.

Parsinnen showed AQ83 for the nut flush, and his opponent's cards flew into the muck.

The turn showed 763K and James Chen checked in the small blind. Xixiang Luo bet the pot for 186,000 only for Chen to then declare all-in and slide forward a rack of T-5,000 chips that was supposed to be coloured up shortly.

Luo had nearly half of his remaining stack in the middle and eventually folded.

Morton Gets One Through Boeken

Nível 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Noah Boeken had open-raised preflop and had called a pot-sized three-bet by Michael Morton to create a pot of 160,000 chips.

Boeken then checked from early position to Morton in the cutoff, who bet all in for 103,000 chips on the flop of K72.

Boeken thought it over for a while, deliberating whether he would "give Morton a bad beat or not."

Eventually, he laid it down and Morton showed AKQ10 for top pair and the nut flush draw.

After losing a couple of small pots in a row, Justin Smith got back to winning ways to keep his stack hanging steady as the bubble approaches.

Smith opened to 17,000 from the cutoff and received a call from a player in the big blind.

Action checked through the 9J5 flop to the 7 turn where the big blind checked again. Smith took the opportunity to bet, making it 30,000 to call. His opponent did not immediately fold but eventually mucked their holding to send the pot over to Smith.

Arriving on a completed board of 5K449, Daniel Demicki checked out of the big blind before Jim Collopy fired a bet of 50,000 on the button. Demicki went deep into the tank but eventually tossed in a call.
