Joshua Adkins opened to 900,000 from the button and Elie Nakache defended his big blind.

On the 6♣4♥2♠ flop, Nakache check-raised to 2,000,000 over a bet of 600,000 and was called. Nakache fired out 3,500,000 on the K♦ turn, and Adkins stuck around for the final street.

The 10♠ completed the board, and Nakache moved all-in for Adkins' last 9,500,000. The American thought for around 30 seconds before making the call for the cards to be tabled.

Nakache flopped the stone-cold nuts, cracking Adkins' double-suited aces to become France's 36th bracelet winner.

Adkins, who had never cashed in a WSOP event before, banked $880,621 for his runner-up performance.

Jonathan Bowers called from the small blind and Joshua Adkins raised to 750,000 out of the big blind. Bowers called.

Bowers checked the monotone flop of 3♦8♦9♦ and Adkins bet 300,000. Bowers called and they headed to the turn.

On the Q♣ turn, Bowers checked again and Adkins bet 2,350,000. Bowers moved all in for 25,000 more and Adkins snap-called.

Nguyen put in the rest of his chips on the A♥3♠2♣ flop and was called by both opponents.

The 9♠ turn checked through to the 4♦ river, where action checked through to showdown.

Oshri Lahmani moved all in for 650,000 from under the gun. Elie Nakache called from the button, Manh Nguyen called from the small blind, and Jonathan Bowers called from the big blind.

The A♥5♣6♣ flop got checked to Nackache and he bet 600,000. Nguyen folded but Bowers called.

Bowers and Nakache checked the J♥ on the turn to see the 4♠ hit the river. Bowers bet 800,000 and Nakache folded. With Lahamni all in, the cards were revealed.

Bowers rivered the nuts which was good enough to send Lahmani to the rail in fifth place.
