Lipman Holds to Double After Action Flop

A player in middle position opened the action with a raise to 4,500. Michael Lipman called from the cutoff which brought along the button and big blind.

Middle position continued for 6,500 on 5♦7♥8♥ and Lipman made the call. The big blind check-raised to 26,000 before Lipman moved all in for 73,000. The big blind snap called but was behind.

The turn 3♠ and river 2♠ were no help to the big blind as Lipman raked in the pot to take command as table chip leader.

Both players checked to the river as the full board now read J♥6♥6♦5♥6♣. Bekerian checked again and his opponent checked back. Bekerian rolled over A♦4♦ for ace high, which was seemingly enough to see his opponent's cards into the muck.

The small blind continued for 18,000 on 4♥K♦9♥ and Chirumamilla called once more.

Action went check-check on the 10♠ turn before Chirumamilla fired 26,000 on the 4♣ river. His opponent went into the tank but eventually mucked his hand.

The A♥5♣7♦ flop checked through to the 8♥ on the turn. Ruter took the lead for 18,000 and the cutoff called.

The Q♣ river saw Ruter commit his remaining stack of 24,000 into the middle. The cutoff thought for a considerable amount of time before giving up his hand without a fight.
