Tronson Shows Down Second Pair
Nível 7
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
A player on the button opened to 2,500 and was called by a player in the small blind and Ted Tronson in the big blind.
The flop came 8♠7♦5♥. The small blind checked, Tronson bet 6,000, the button called and the small blind folded.
Both remaining players then checked the 10♣ turn and 5♣ river. The button had 7♥6♣ for a pair of sevens and missed straight draw but Tronson had 9♣8♣ for a pair of eights to take the pot.
