A pot was brewing on a board of 6♠7♦K♣10♣ between Patrick Kennedy and Chris Brewer.
With 28,000 in the middle, both players awaited the river card to be dealt.
The dealer put out the 10♦ and Brewer led out for 11,000. Kennedy raised to 42,000 and Brewer pondered for a moment before tossing his cards into the muck.
On a completed board of Q♦K♠Q♣9♥7♥ with a sizable pot already in the middle, Marko Grujic checked to Alex Foxen, who fired 32,400 into the middle.
Grujic went into the tank before eventually putting in a call. Foxen turned over A♠8♠, which was no good against the Q♥5♣ of Grujic who assumed the lead following the encounter.
The first bust of the day has just occurred, with Keir Sullivan falling to Joseph Miller in Level 2.

Sullivan opened to 2,000 from the button and called when Miller three-bet to 8,000.
The J♥2♠4♠ flop checked through to the A♥ turn, where Miller check-called for 11,000. The 6♥ river completed the board, and Miller checked once again. Sullivan emptied the clip, jamming for around 100,000 into a pot of 38,000. Miller called after some thought.
Sullivan had queen-high with Q♥9♣. Sullivan took the pot with his A♣10♥ and indicated that holding the 10♥ was one of the factors in his decision to call the all-in
Ignacio Moron opened to 2,000 from the button before Darren Elias three-bet to 9,500 from the big blind. Moron called.
Elias continued for 12,000 on the J♠9♥5♦ flop and was called. He sized up to 30,000 on the 2♦ turn. Moron went into the tank, using a time bank before announcing all-in. Elias quickly folded.
The following hand, Elias raised to 2,000 and folded to Moron's reraise to 8,400.
Koray Aldemir raised from the button and called when Alexander Keating three-bet to 8,000.
Keating continued for 5,000 on the K♣6♥2♥ flop, before slowing down with a check on the 7♦ turn. Keating then check-folded to a bet of 9,500 to the 2021 WSOP Main Event champion.

John Smith had a bet of 2,000 in front of him from the big blind on a flop of 10♥3♣4♣. Dario Sammartino raised to 7,000 and Smith called.
The 5♠ fell on the turn and Smith led out for 7,000. Sammartino called.
Smith cut out a bet of 22,000 and placed it into the middle after the 10♦ completed the board and Sammartino quickly flung in a single chip to denote a call.
Smith turned over 6♣7♠ for a straight and Sammartino frustratedly tossed his hand into the muck.
Marko Grujic opened on the button to 1,500 and was quickly three-bet by Alex Foxen to 6,000. Grujic made the call, and the flop came Q♠J♠6♥
Foxen then bets 8,000, and Grujic again made the call.
With 28,000 in the pot, the turn was the 5♠. Foxen continued his aggression and fired out 21,000. After thinking it over for a few seconds, Grujic folded to give Foxen the early lead.
Kevin Rabichow made it 1,500 from the button, and Patrick Leonard, who recently won the SCOOP High leaderboard and his eighth SCOOP title, called from the big blind.
Leonard check-called for 800 on the A♦Q♥4♣ flop before the 2♣ turn and 9♣ river checked through to showdown. The duo chopped the pot as Leonard tabled 6♦4♥ while Rabichow had 5♥4♠.
On a nearby table, Owen Messere was deep into the tank in a tough river spot. With 7,600 in the pot on the 10♠7♠5♠7♦3♠ board, Roberto Perez checked from the big blind. Owen Messere made an overbet of 12,000. Perez sprung into life, raising to 115,000, almost 200 big blinds. Messere agonized for a while, burning up a majority of his time banks before releasing his hand to concede the pot.
