Henson Takes from Guagenti

Nível 18

Omaha Hi-Lo

Nick Guagenti opened from middle position and was called by Ray Henson in the small blind.

Henson led out on the 4K6 flop with Guagenti making the call.

The 3 turn saw Henson slow down, checking to Guagenti before calling a bet.

Both players checked to showdown on the J river. Henson tabled KK53 to take down the pot and push his stack towards the top of the chip counts.

Nakamura Cannot Find a Call

Nível 18

2-7 Triple Draw

John Kabbaj opened from under the gun and action folded around to Tamon Nakamura in the small blind, who three-bet. Kabbaj came back over the top and Nakamura called to generate a sizable pot heading to the first draw.

Both players took one card on the first draw after which Nakamura led out. Kabbaj made the call.

Nakamura declined to draw at the second chance while Kabbaj again took one. As on the previous betting round, Nakamura fired off with Kabbaj flatting.

Neither player swapped any cards on the final draw. Nakamura bet once more but seemed dismayed when Kabbaj put in a raise. After thinking for quite some time, Nakamura folded to take a hit to his stack.

No-Limit Hold'Em

Action was picked up after the K87 flop in a hand between Fu "Grasshopper" Wong from under the gun and Phil Hellmuth in the small blind.

The remainder of Grasshopper's 95,500 chips had found their way into the middle and Wong was at risk against Hellmuth.

Fu "Grasshopper" Wong: AK All in
Phil Hellmuth: 88

Hellmuth was way ahead with his set of eights against the top-top of Grasshopper. The K came on the turn which gave Grasshopper some outs.

In miraculous fashion, the A peeled off on the river, which gave Grasshopper a higher full house.

Hellmuth complimented his opponent following the hand as he declared, "Nice hand, sir."

However, the frustration eventually got to Hellmuth as he yelled, "Fuck!" which earned the attention of the entire Horseshoe Event Center.

"I think you handled it with absolute class," commented a tablemate.

Henson Gets Aggressive

Nível 18

No-Limit Hold'em

Nick Guagenti opened to 12,500 from under the gun and then called after Ray Henson three-bet to 36,000 on the button.

Guagenti checked following the 2Q10 flop. Henson continued for 23,000, which did not appear to sit well with Guagenti as he took another look at his cards before tossing them into the muck.
