Ashish Gupta raised to 28,000 in the small blind and Scott Blackman called in the big blind.
Gupta continued for 22,000 on the 8♦4♠J♠ flop, getting a call from Blackman.
Both players checked through the 9♠ turn to the 10♠ river at which point Gupta checked once more. Blackman declined to go to a cheap showdown, instead firing off 72,000. Gupta went deep into the tank but eventually folded, claiming to have had a straight, to put a small dent in his still large stack.
