Julia drew three and Gluszko drew two.

On the second draw, both players took two.

Julia drew one and Gluszko drew two on the end. Julia was drawing to 8x7x6x3x and Gluszko was drawing to 5x4x2x. Gluszko caught 3x2x to pair his two and Julia caught a 9x to survive.

The 2021 champion found a double to stay in contention

The board ran out as favorable to Couden as his aces with a king beat Gluzsko's aces with a queen and Couden survived.

Bradley Jansen raised to 60,000 and was called by Scott Bohlman on the button as well as Ashish Gupta in the big blind. Gupta took two, Jansen patted and Bohlman took one. It checked to Jansen and his bet of 110,000 won the pot.

Warwick Mirzikinian then raised to 60,000 for Bohlman and Masafumi Iijima to call. They each drew one and Bohlman's bet of 150,000 won the pot without showdown.

Both players had a pair of sixes in the hole, but Gluszko had the ace kicker and it held as neither player made a low and Hui was eliminated in 14th place.

Friedman Loses to Gupta and Mirzikinian

Adam Friedman raised and then called a three-bet by Ashish Gupta on the button. Friedman check-called three streets on the J♠7♥2♠6♠5♦ board and mucked when Gupta tabled the A♥A♦.

One hand later, Friedman raised and was called by Warwick Mirzikinian as well as Ben Yu in the blinds. Only Mirzikinian check-called a continuation bet on the A♦Q♦2♣ flop, then check-called a bet on the A♠ turn. Friedman checked behind the A♣ river and Mirzikinian won the pot with 7♠7♥.

Ben Yu raised in the hijack and in the small blind Masafumi Iijima three-bet which saw Yu call.

The flop rolled out 3♦3♥6♠ and Iijima bet which Yu called.

Iijima bet on the 7♥ turn over to Yu who called.

On the 10♥ river, Iijima bet and Yu went into the tank. After thinking about his decision for just under a minute, he tossed his hand into the muck.

Ashish Gupta opened to 80,000 from the hijack, and when it folded to Ben Yu in the small blind, he three-bet to 264,000. Gupta made the call to see a flop.

The flop came 5♦7♠2♦ and Yu announced pot, which got a quick fold from Gupta, to give Yu the pot.
