Soika Knocks Out Klein
With four players seeing a board of Q♠4♠2♣3♦ a player in the small blind checked and Bill Klein checked behind from the big blind. A player in early position bet 2,500 and was called by Ihar Soika in the hijack before the small blind check-raised to 8,500. Klein moved all in for 11,400 and the original better folded.
Soika asked for confirmation that the small blind could not reopen the action if he called and after confirming this was the case he made the call. The small blind called as well creating a sizable pot going into the river.
On the 4♥ river the small blind checked and Soika bet 23,000. The small blind briefly went into the tank for a couple minutes before opting to call.
Klein and the small blind both had the wheel straight with A♥5♦ and A♣5♣ respectively but Soika turned over Q♣Q♥ for queens full of fours to eliminate Klein (who may choose to reenter) and drag in a colossal pot.
