Scott Seiver: XxXx/5x3x10xAx/Xx
Jared Bleznick: XxXx/7x4xQx6x - folded on sixth street
Jared Bleznick had bet on fourth street and Dylan Smith raised when controversy erupted at this table. Scott Seiver accused Bleznick of goading Smith into raising in order to force Seiver out of the pot.
"It's straight up cheating," Seiver said as the floor was called over.
"Scott, I didn't mean it like that. We're all talking, joking around," Bleznick replied, defending himself. The floor eventually gave Bleznick a warning not to talk about the hand while it was in progress, and action then proceeded with Seiver and Bleznick calling Smith's raise.
Smith bet again on fifth street and both opponents called. Another bet on sixth forced out Bleznick, while Seiver called and both players checked down seventh.
Seiver announced he had an eight, but Smith showed Kx7x6x for 7-6-5-3-A to win the pot.
Seiver and Bleznick patched things up and even posed for a picture for Nick Schulman together. "I was raising anyway," Smith said.
Jeff Madsen: XxXx / 8xJx4x9x / Xx
Phillip Hui: XxXx / 4x9x3x10x / Xx
Phil Ivey: XxXx / 3x6xAxAx / Xx
Action was picked up on fifth street where Ivey bet, Madsen called for his remaining chips, and Hui called. On sixth street, both remaining players checked. Seventh street saw Hui bet and Ivey call.
Hui announced an eight-five and Ivey rolled over 7x6x5x for the winner with seven-six. Madsen was long gone from the table.
Simeon Tsonev: XxXx/Ax4x7x
Eric Rodawig: XxXx/6x3xAx
Eric Rodawig bet on fifth street before Simeon Tsonev raised. Rodawig then reraised and Tsonev called all in.
Tsonev finished with 3x7x5x8x for 8-7-5-3-A, while Rodawig had 2x9x9x showing by seventh. He caught the 5x on his last card to make a 6-5-3-2-A and send Tsonev to the rail.
Daniel Negreanu: XxXx/3xAx6xQx/Xx
Jared Bleznick: XxXx/6xAx10x9x/Xx
Jared Bleznick completed and was called by Daniel Negreanu and Per Hildebrand.
Negreanu opened the betting on fourth street and Bleznick called, while Hildebrand got out of the way.
Negreanu then bet again down to seventh as Bleznick continued to call. Negreanu fired out another bet on seventh and Bleznick paused for a moment before calling once more.
Negreanu showed 7x5x4x for 6-5-4-3-A and Bleznick mucked.
At the same table, Phil Ivey has more than doubled his starting stack since taking his seat during the first level.
Dylan Weisman: XxXx / 4x10x2x10x / Xx
Jordan Siegel: XxXx / AxQx6xKx / Xx
Action was picked up on fifth street where Weisman called a bet from Siegel. On sixth, it was Weisman betting and Siegel with the call. Both players checked seventh, and Weisman rolled over Ax9x6x for a nine-six and the win. After registering late this morning, Weisman is off to a strong start.
