Slowrolling — it's a divisive topic in the poker world. Some players take great joy in taking part in the act, while for others, it's their biggest pet peeve when at the table.
There have been plenty of examples that have made headlines over the years, with Nik Airball's slowroll on Ethan 'Rampage' Yau on Hustler Casino Live being a recent case study.
And now, at the 2024 World Series of Poker, we may have seen the biggest slowroll of the summer so far.

David Funkhouser: XxXx/7x10xJxAx/Xx
Heads-up on fifth street, Sebastian Pauli bet and David Funkhouser called.
Pauli also bet on sixth street and Funkhouser stuck around to see seventh. Pauli then tossed out another bet.
Funkhouser spent nearly a minute in the tank before folding as Pauli took in the pot.
Hal Rotholz: XxXx/3xQxAxKx/Xx
Dustin Dirksen: XxXx/4x6xQx4x/Xx
Jay Kerbel: XxXx/5x10x2xJx/Xx
Jay Kerbel bet into a four-way pot on fifth street and Dustin Dirksen and Hal Rotholz called.
Kerbel bet again on sixth and both opponents called down to seventh, where Rotholz bet. Dirksen called while Kerbel got out of the way.
Rotholz showed 9x6x5x for 9-6-5-3-A and Dirksen flashed 9x7x2x for a 9-7 before mucking.
Jeff Madsen: XxXx/5x3x
Mark Epstein: XxXx/10xAx - folded on fourth street
Jerry Wong: XxXx/3xQx - folded on fourth street
Mark Epstein was the bring in and got to see fourth street for free after Jerry Wong and Jeff Madsen just called.
Action checked to Madsen, who slid out a bet. That was enough to take down a small pot, as both Epstein and Wong mucked.
The $25K Fantasy league rolls on, and as of June 19, Team The Dinkers (Josh Kay) is still on top with 662 points, which is a good bit ahead of both Team Sternheimer (523 points) and Team Sepiol (461 points). Yingui Li bet on fourth street and Yuval Bronshtein called.
Li bet again on fifth and Bronshtein stuck around to see sixth. Li then fired out another bet and Bronshtein quickly gathered up his board and tossed the cards back to the dealer.
