Davtyan Doubles Up Through Behnam Twice
Karo Davtyan and Arash Behnam were sitting next to each other in the blinds and the first hand started innocently enough. Davtyan completed the small blind and Arash Behnam checked his option.
They saw a flop of 8♦6♦5♥. Davtyan bet 4,000 and Behnam raised to 10,000. Davtyan called.
The turn was the 4♣. Davtyan again decided to lead, it was for 10,000. Behnam raised all in, which Davtyan snap-called.
Behnam turned over Q♠4♥, while Davtyan had 7♠9♣ for the flopped nut straight.
A few hands later, Davtyan opened 4,000 from early position. Behnam called. Players in the small blind and big blind also called. Davtyan told PokerNews to stick around, saying that we are about to get a better story.
The flop came 5♣2♣Q♦. Both blinds checked and Davtyan continued for 6,000. Behnam called and the blinds folded.
