Flush Draw Works for Faulkner

As retold by the players; Thierry van den Berg raised from under the gun to 35,000 and Scot Faulkner made the call from the big blind. The flop came out as A26x and van den Berg bet out 45,000 and Faulkner called.

The turn brought the 7x and van den Berg bet out 85,000 and Faulkner three-bet to 200,000 and van den Berg four-bet all in for 650,000. Faulkner admitted he did not realize that van den Berg had so many chips when he made the call but he is happy he did.

Due to the river 4 which completed his flush.

Yaghmai Folds on the Turn

Nariman Yaghmai opened to 30,000 from the cutoff, but the small blind three-bet to 85,000. The big blind folded and Yaghmai made the call.

On a flop of Q44, the small blind quickly continued for 100,000. Yaghmai called to find the K turn, where the small blind fired a second barrel of 200,000.

Yaghmai seemed to have no choice but to fold.

Yorra Wins Blind Versus Blind

Action picked up on the turn in a hand between Matthew Yorra in the small blind and the player in the big blind.

Without about 150,000 in the pot and the board reading 8342, Yorra check-called a bet of 140,000.

The J river went check-check, and Yorra tabled 83, for two pair, besting the Kx8x of his opponent.

94-Year-Old Kobrinsky Doubles Up

After he arrived at the table "with 28,000, three big blinds," 94-year old Sam Kobrinsky called from the hijack after a player opened from early position. The cutoff three-bet and made the initial raiser fold. But Kobrinsky decided to go all-in for 330,000. He was called by the cutoff.

Both players flopped a pair, but the cutoff remained in the lead on J4A. However Kobrinsky was lucky enough to hit two pair with the 10 turn to double up after the 2 river.
