Platt's opponent in the cutoff went deep into the tank, thinking for some time before finally flicking in the call. Platt tabled 7♠5♠ for a turned flush, winning him this pot.

The pot had grown to approximately 20,000 with two players looking at a board of 9♦A♦J♠9♠.

Stan Webb, in the big blind, bet out 20,000, putting his opponent in early position deep into the tank. Webb's opponent eventually chose to move all in for just 500 chips more and Webb quickly called.

The river landed the 7♣ and Webb's two pair was more than enough to send his opponent to the rail.

"Two pair Stan, they call him," remarked a neutral player at the table.

Playing the Seven Deuce Game

The player under the gun limped and the small blind also limped and the big blind, Andrew Hedley checked. The flop came out with 6♥5♠3♠ and Hedley took the lead and bet out 400 and both players called.

All the players checked the turn 7♥.

On the river 5♦ Hedley took another stab and placed a bet of 800 and the small blind called.

The small blind queried, "Do you have a five?"

To which Hedley responded, "No but I have the seven", and revealed 7♣2♠ for two pair and the win as the small blind mucked.

The player in middle position raised, the cutoff called and Maxim Sheingart squeezed to 3,500 from the button. Both players called.

The action checked to Sheingart who bet out 2,500 on the J♣3♣10♣ flop. Only the cutoff called.

The 4♠ turn saw the cutoff check and then fold to a bet of 9,000 from Sheingart, allowing him to take down this pot without a showdown.

On the turn 8♣ Shylko continued with a bet of 1,800 which also received a call.

The river 7♣ brought another bet from Shylko of 2,700 and the small blind thought for a moment and made the call.

Shylko immediately announced, "quads" and turned over 10♠10♦.

The small blind said, "That's pretty good", and mucked.

Another player mentioned, "It is crazy that quads are not even the nuts here", referring to the possibility of a straight flush.
