The player in middle position raised to 4,000, Matthew Stout called in the cutoff, as did Frank Lagodich, on the button.
The action checked to Lagodich who took the lead for 8,000 on the 7♣K♣3♠ flop. The original raiser called and Stout quickly raised to 30,000. Lagodich called and the player in middle position folded.
The A♦ fell on the turn and Stout bet enough to put Lagodich all in for his effective stack of approximately 50,000.
"I had the best hand on the flop," Lagodich laughed as he mulled over his decision. Lagodich eventually chose to fold and Stout took down this pot without a showdown.
