Day 3 of Event #42: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship at the 2024 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas starts at 1 p.m. with 11 players left aiming for the bracelet and the $260,658 top prize out of the $995,100 prizepool.

The returning field is an absolutely stacked one with nine of the eleven players being bracelet winners already and seven $25K Fantasy participants. Interestingly, one of the two who are not, is start of day chip leader Mike Lang who comes in with a substantial chip lead. The Iowa native has just under $200,000 in career WSOP earnings and secures a career best score with a 5th place finish or higher.

On his heels are two multi-time bracelet winners in three-time winner Paul Volpe and four-time winner Yuri Dzivielevski. The other player remaining who has multiple bracelets to his name is Robert Mizrachi, who has a whole handful of them and will be looking to add #6.

And then there are the two-time winners with Yuval Bronshtein and Juha Helppi.

Many of the remaining players are known stud giants and adding this bracelet to their haul would be one of the crown jewels of their career.

The field is still wide open and as is always the case with stud, it is anybody's game where fortunes can change quickly. A lengthy day is expected with many big bets still in play. The plan is to reach a winner tonight and to crown a new stud $10K champion.

Play re-starts at Level 18 with 20,000/40,000 limits.

PokerNews will provide all of the updates throughout the entire day.
